  In recent years, as represented by the Nutrition Support Team��NST��, the importance of nutrition management, which is one of the foundations of medical care, has come to be recognized in the medical field. The objectives of Department of Therapeutic Nutrition are to train dietitians who have scientific based knowledge in anatomy, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, and physiology and work in the treatment and prevention of disease and to create evidence of medical nutrition. In the graduate school, we will strengthen the acceptance of hospital workers who have clinical experience and a strong awareness of problems in actual clinical practice, and we will train nutrition doctors who will be in a leadership position not only in clinical practice but also in research. We would like to contribute to center of excellence for the field of medical nutrition.
