Associate Professor Tarashima Noriko receives the 13th Women Chemists Encouragement Award from the Chemical Society of Japan

On December 24th, 2024, the Chemical Society of Japan announced the winners of its 2024 awards and Associate Professor Tarashima Noriko of Tokushima University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Sciences) was awarded the 13th Women Chemists Encouragement Award from the Chemical Society of Japan.

¡¡This award is given to a female member of the Chemical Society of Japan who has made outstanding achievements and contributions to academic research that utilizes her expertise in chemistry, who also strives to contribute to society, who has helped to improve the status of female chemists in Japan through research activities and exchanges both domestically and internationally, and who is a role model for students and young researchers who aspire to be scientists and engineers of the future.

¡¡The award ceremony is scheduled to be held on March 27th, 2025.
